News 9 (Albany, NY), "Repairs needed for same Yamaha four-wheeler involved in fatal crash"
New details have emerged following the accident that claimed the life of a 13-year-old boy in Knox involving a four-wheeler. We've learned that a "repair program" was announced in March for the 2009 Yamaha Rhino 4x4 that James Wyatt Spencer was riding when it flipped over on Thursday.

The Albany County Sheriff's Office said Spencer and a friend were riding the four-wheeler in a field behind his house when it rolled over, trapping the 13-year-old underneath. Neither were wearing helmets. The friend was not injured. According to the Yamaha website, the Consumer Product Safety Commission investigated more than 50 incidents involving 46 deaths on two of the Rhino models. More than two-thirds of those deaths were caused by rollover accidents.
